Resources: I continue to work on my Early Years Project and have began working even more closely with our Early Years team, two of the team have also began creating their own multi touch books to use within their classrooms, we have created a TAKP bookshelf for internal sharing and I am hoping to support staff to become published authors on the iTunes Store. I have realised how important it is to have access to copyright free resources, to editable icons and to have a large pool of high quality photos to draw on. Our students are avid photographers and our teachers need to be too. Capturing the moment on the iPad takes but a second but it's certainly the 'picture paints a thousand words' analogy when it comes to multitouch books. It's all about the visual!

Graduate Profile and Curriculum Development: I am now part of our schools Curriculum development team. The team consists of our two deputy Principals, myself, a Senior school classroom teacher and a junior school classroom teachers. Our goal is to produce a Graduate Profile (we have been articulating this clearly for a number of years but have not had a graphic representation to share with students and whanau) alongside this with input from ALL staff in their Professional Learning Communities (PLC's) we will rewrite our curriculum to include the 'Skills and Attitudes' that connect with our Graduate Profile. We will be working alongside Trevor Bond (Core Education) whose vast experience in this field will help guide our decision making.
