Events:  The MADE Awards celebration evening was hosted this month. After months of organisation on the committee the time had come to view the judges decisions, where students across the country were acknowledged and their digital objects shared to a large audience at a local events centre. Over 600 people attend this event.
Our school gained seven 1st places and eleven 2nd or 3rds, a huge achievement.

Also in November I entered the E20 best of education Digital Showcase and Awards - I was lucky enough to attend this event in Brisbane alongside our Principal where we won the People's Choice Award. Connecting with other ADE's and educators and sharing our journeys at this event was very valuable. We also took this opportunity to visit several school's in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, including spending time in Cathy Hunt classroom which was a highlight for me.

Resources: I published the 4th multitouch book in the "High Frequency Word" series
Yellow Words. After sharing these resources via the NZ Teachers Facebook page (where 20,000 teachers connect) I have had a long list of requests to produce more resources. I wish I could do this 24/7 but I also have a full time in school position (as well as being contracted to work in other schools) so I produce all the resources in my own time (which is dwindling by the second!). My books are all free to download, which is how I want them to be.....but I do often wish there was a way I do this full time.
